Graeme Fawcett

I’m from New Zealand (a huge fan of the All Blacks!). Ever since I held Jesus’ hand at the age of six, I’ve been walking closely with Him. Later, during my studies in Japan (learning Japanese at Osaka University of Foreign Studies and sociology at Rikkyo University), I fell in love with the country.

After marrying my wife, Lucy, who is from Malaysia, we spent five years in Borneo, sharing Jesus’ love and planting churches in towns and jungles.

In 1984, we returned to Japan and founded Jesus Family Church in Osaka. I thought I would stay in Japan forever, but in 2001, God led me in an unexpected direction—to share Jesus’ love with an Islamic people group in Mozambique. Since then, over 8,000 people have been baptized, and about 200 churches have been established.

Now, back in Osaka, I find great joy in sharing the love and salvation of Jesus Christ with as many people as possible. His words, “You are precious and honored in my sight, and I love you” (Isaiah 43:4) continue to guide my mission.

I am also blessed with three wonderful children who are now independent and five adorable grandchildren.

Keishi Shimamura

Hello, I’m Keishi Shimamura, the leader of Be One Network. I currently run Shimamura Acupuncture & Osteopathic Clinic while also serving as a pastor and leader. I’m also a father of three children.

Many years ago, when I was 17, I struggled deeply with life. I was overwhelmed with self-hatred and despair, constantly thinking about ending my life. At that time, a friend invited me to a Christian gathering. There, for the first time, I called on the name of Jesus Christ and prayed sincerely.

To my surprise, a deep, overflowing joy filled my heart, completely washing away my desire to die. That joy didn’t fade—it remained the next day and the day after that. As I read the Bible, I found stories of people who had experienced the same transformation.

Through prayer and studying the Bible, I discovered true love, joy, peace, and truth in Jesus Christ. Now, over 35 years later, through all of life’s ups and downs, that deep joy still fills my heart.

Jumpei Saeki

I’m from Osaka City, and my hobbies include reading and playing the guitar. But most of all, I love spending time with my precious daughter.

I met Jesus Christ in my second year of high school, and it completely changed my life. From the outside, I seemed to have everything—I was the captain of the volleyball team and had excellent grades. But deep inside, I was troubled.

I often wondered, “Is this all life is? Study, go to university, get a job, get married, live to 80, then die? There must be more to life than this!”

One day, while attending a church service by chance, Jesus touched my heart, and I realized that my life had a purpose. I remember feeling, from the depths of my soul, “I’m so glad to be alive!” Since then, I have walked joyfully with Jesus every day.

After high school, I studied Portuguese and English at Osaka University of Foreign Studies. During my long vacations, I traveled to different countries to share the message of Jesus.

After graduating, I worked as an English teacher at Seikyo Gakuen Junior & Senior High School while also planting churches from 2005. Later, I taught at Osaka Jogakuin Junior & Senior High School for six years, where I had the privilege of sharing Jesus’ love with many students.

In 2013, I left my teaching job to study at Kansai Bible Institute. In 2014, I married my beloved wife, Michiru, and now I serve full-time as a pastor and church leader.
